Matured Newborn

Finished reading the novelization of Alien: Resurrection a few days ago. Although much of it was the same as depicted in the film, it was far more detailed and there were lots of things thrown in that made it (In my mind) far superior to the film. 
Most fans of the series tend to view the 4th film as an awful nightmare, which for the most part I agree with, though I find it far more interesting then Alien 3.

From Resurrection I enjoyed Ripley 8 and the Newborn, both design and creation. Most people didn't, but i'm not most people. To me it fit perfectly with the themes of the series as a whole. Even the weird Penis/Vagina on the Newborn that they edited out of the final cut? Yup, loved it. Everything in those movies were basically Penises and Rape Scenes anyways *Shrugs*

But I digress, while watching Prometheus today (A beautiful film that could have actually been a brilliant movie had they stuck to the original plot) I decided to sketch a new version of a Matured Newborn. 

In the Novelization Ripley 8 notes that the Newborn isn't fully grown at 8 feet, and would easily grow to 2/3 times larger if not more. 
I imaged a huge creature which after maturity would take on an egg sack and become fused to it much like a normal Queen, but would produce a different type of egg which would then create a whole new type of Xenomorph. 

In the Novel the Newborn had a tail, and it's tongue later mutated into one similar to a normal Xenomorph (with a second mouth). I'd imagine that after some kind of metamorphosis process it would obtain even more Alien traits. 

Original (Done in 2012) I hate the original version I did, looking back at it. But the rib cage is alright, but the head SUCKS. Arms SUCK.
