Ravana

A character in my Cainverse who I had been trying to draw for ages.
I have ALOT of info on him but most of it will come later as I draw more of him.

Like many Gods and Demons in my story, Ravana is based off the actual Hindu demon from the epic Ramayana however I have drastically changed him and his background to fit into my story's universe.
In the Cainverse Ravana is an ancient demon prince born within the depths of one of the roughest hell dimensions, where a species of barbaric warrior demons known as Rakshasa make their home and wage bloody wars against their foes.
Within the ranks of Rakshasa there are upper classes who are generally more powerful due to being born of stronger blood (those who have managed to rise from the rest and rule over the others) and a lower class which generally become grunts or workers and make up the majority of the species. Ravana was born of the king of the Rakshasa known as Vishrava whom held the title of Greater Demon Lord (One of the highest demonic rankings). Though Vishrava had sired countless powerful children in the past they were shocked to find that Ravana was born with pale white skin and white h.air, unlike the typical Rakshasa who have pitch black skin and wild red hair. Many of the Rakshasa viewed this as a sign of the coming of a new age while others feared it as an abomination.
Despite this, Ravana quickly grew into a powerful and feared warrior among his "people" and fought against his own brothers to claim the title of prince of their realm. During his rule he would topple countless opposing tribes.
Though Hindu mythology states that Ravana was once the demonic king of Sri Lanka in ancient times, in the Cainverse he instead ruled over his hell dimension which had one of its major portals located near Sri Lanka.

Ravana comes into my story around the middle of the first "season" when the Demon lords begin to take notice of Cain in the human world and become fed up with him slaying their kind. The King of Demons (AKA the "Satan" of my story) chooses Ravana and sends him on a mission to Earth to defeat Cain once and for all. When he arrives in the human world Ravana takes on a human appearance (which I will be drawing soon). He engaged Cain in battle but despite being a deadly (Yet Honorable opponent) ended up losing to Cain after a difficult battle and the use of Cain’s newly acquired “Demon Form”. Ravana returned to hell, vowing vengeance. Ravana would later return, and has a much more important role in my story later, if you're interested make sure to stay tuned for future drawing ;D

In this form Ravana stands around 9 foot tall, so hes pretty intimidating haha. In their native world Rakshasa are said to be capable of changing their size however, so imagine him like 50 foot tall O.O

Though I drew this form first he actually only uses this form like 2 or 3 times, most the time hes in his "human" form which I will be drawing when I get the chance. I have alot more info for him but it would be confusing to write it all on here.
